*The following committees  are vacant and are recruiting support:

Recruitment Committee: With the Committee Chair, these parties shall be responsible for developing, implementing and administering a volunteer recruitment plan. The plan shall address recruitment requirements and job descriptions, and will be implemented with the advice and consent of the Executive Committee.


Finance Committee: 
With the General Treasurer as Chair-woman, these parties shall evaluate and establish the financial needs of the Byrd Family Association and report the findings to the Executive Committee. Fundraising, Accounting, and/or Corporate financial planning  experience is preferred.


Children's  Committee: With the Committee Chair, these parties shall be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating all youth events and activities of the
Byrd Family Association.




*The following positions are vacant and are recruiting support: 

General Counsel of the Association:
S/He shall be a direct descendant or spouse of the Byrd family, and be a licensed or retired practicing attorney in the State of Maryland.

Technology Officer: 
Will assist the Chief Technology Officer

Technology Officer:
Will assist the Chief Technology Officer

Chaplain and Co-Chaplain:
The Chaplain and Co-Chaplain shall be a member of clergy and shall possess a license or ministerial certificate of the Christian faith. S/He shall serve the Byrd Family Association whenever called upon by providing appropriate Devotional Services.
